Frequently Asked Questions
How long does treatment last?
Time in treatment will vary depending on multiple factors including severity of symptoms and willingness to create changes in behavior. Often treatment lasts several months or less depending on treatment goals The more you’re willing to sit with your uncomfortable feelings the faster change can occur.
Is treatment covered by insurance?
WMC operates exclusively on a self-pay model, and does not accept insurance. Please see our Services page, for information about our rates.
Should you wish, you may also contact your insurance provider to discuss options for coverage. Some insurance plans may reimburse the policy holder directly for covered services.
A diagnostic code may be provided for billing purposes on request.
Are in-person appointments available?
In some situations children and adolescents could benefit from anxiety/OCD treatment but may not have the insight or willingness to create change themselves. This is a common challenge for many families. Some families may benefit from working directly with a therapist to change patterns within the home that could negatively impact anxiety or OCD symptoms. Please schedule a consultation to learn more.
Do you work with children?
At this time, WMC offers tele-health appointments only.
I don’t live in Oregon — can I still be seen by WMC?
No, services are only available to individuals living in Oregon at the time of their appointment.
